Fans in Prague are starting to get excited about the development of a young, talented squad who are going to be turning heads in the near future. The offseason additions of young players like PM Bouchard, Jeff Schultz, Kris Letang and Yanick Weber, help to bolster an already impressive group of youngsters. Speculation of more moves in the near future are rampant, with Hockeybuzz posting new rumours regarding Prague players almost daily. For now, the lineup may not look as impressive as some others, but the potential is unquestionable.
Markus Naslund(78)-Saku Koivu(79)-Bouchard(78)
The top line in Prague is more than capable of putting the puck in the net while playing a very responsible defensive game.
S. Kostitsyn(73)-Brind'Amour(81)-Langenbrunner(77)
Again a focus on solid defensive hockey is the key, while young gun Sergei Kostitsyn gets a chance to learn from the best playing with Rod the Bod.
Torres(72)-Mueller(77)-Kessel(73)
A young line with a good balance of firepower and grit. Mueller and Kessel can play the dangle game while Torres digs the puck out of the corner for them.
Rucinsky(73)-Hanzal(75)-Neil(73)
Hanzal is the focal point of this line, a good opportunity to show that he can play the game until he develops into a more dominant force. Chris Neil can get under the opposing teams skin while rucinsky plays a reliable two way game.
Zubov(80)-Finger(76)
Finger will be given the chance to develop playing with Zubov. A very reliable pairing defensively with the offensive upside brought by one of the game's premier puck movers in Zubov.
Berard(75)-Ohlund(78)
Physicality brought to this pairing by Ohlund and some veteran leadership from Berard. Very capable of putting some points on the board aswell.
Schultz(75)-Ward(75)
Jeff Schultz gets playing time while he continues to develop into a solid defensive defenceman. A solid 3rd pairing that can certainly keep the puck out of the net.
Cam Ward(79)
Vesa Toskala(79)
A solid tandem, 2 guys who can get the job done as starters in the NHL while Cam Ward finally seems to be coming into his own.
Exciting Prospects Who Could Shortly Crack The Lineup:
Bobby Ryan
Shawn Mattias
Derick Brassard
Kris Letang
Anton Stralman
Matt D'Agostini
Bobby Sanguinetti
