Is there really a point? With two teams combined I dont think anyone will benefit from it. Edit: Actually, it could really benefit me

I'm lookin forward to it. I need a bottom pairing D out of it. And possibly a goalie. How many rounds are in the waiver draft?

I'm not that keen on a waiver draft either, just because it would make me think, and I don't want to do that.

There's a level of unbalance already in our league. A cap, waiver draft and free agency should help make for an extremely competitive league, which is the goal of any league. Having a larger pool of players to protect could be an idea that I'll look into further durign the later stages of preseason, before the waiver draft would occur.
These measures to balance the league hurt my team more than almost any other as whole, but it's what's best for the league so I don't have a problem with it. I think Marc can suck it up considering the amount of ineligible players he has and lack of great depth anyways. I doubt you'll lose anyone.
