Can we turn the penalties up a little next season? Teams in our league averaged from 0.7 to 8.8 minutes in penalties a game. In the NHL last season, the average ranged from 11.4 to 18.1, and there are probably a lot less fights in the NHL. It would be nice if PPs and PKs actually mattered a little.

I'm all for it, although I'm not too anxious to see how many goals my putrid PK will allow.

I remember a couple of seasons ago there was the opposite problem, so hopefully there is a setting in between that we can use and be happy with.
As a side note, it's kind of funny how in the space of a couple of seasons, my team's gone from being the IHL's goon squad to a collection of foppish dandies and nancy boys. I guess that's what having Joe Stumpel will do to a team.

Sounds good. Currently penalties are set at 2/10. Maybe we'll go up to 4 or 5 to start next season and see how that goes.
For those wondering, goals is at 10/10 and shots at 10/10 too. Injuries at 0/10.
